What We Do

It’s while sharing our concern for abandoned and injured animals, the decision was made to form a shelter for them. And thus came into existence Animal Care Trust (ACT) on 30.03.2000. Today, after over two decades of providing care and shelter to abandoned/sick/stray animals at ‘Vatsalya’, our home for them, ACT stands as a monument of compassion towards animals.

Vatsalya - Our shelter

Vatsalya, our shelter, is situated on half an acre land in Shaktinagar, Mangalore. Primarily a treatment center, it houses about 300 animals at any given time.
