Our Story

It’s while sharing our concern for abandoned and injured animals, the decision was made to form a shelter for them. And thus came into existence Animal Care Trust (ACT) on 30.03.2000. Today, after two decades of providing care and shelter to abandoned/sick/stray animals at Vatsalya, ACT stands as a monument of compassion towards animals. We immensely thank generous donors and public for their constant support and encouragement, without which it wouldn’t have been possible.

Animal Care Trust is:

• A registered charitable trust
• Recognized by Animal Welfare Board of India
• Run by a board of trustees
• All donations made to ACT are exempted under section 80 G of the Income Tax Act
